On the South Eastern coast of Zanzibar island lays an exclusive property that combines effortless elegance with Zanzibari sophistication. The Palms has six villas, each over 140 square meters with a bedroom, living room, full en suite bathroom, dressing room, extra room with it's own en suite bathroom & large furnished terrace with views of the Indian Ocean.

Nestled between tropical gardens and a white sandy beach, The Palms provides a range of beautifully appointed facilities reflecting the warmth and character of the local architecture in an elegant yet relaxed setting.  Overlooking the beach, private palm thatched "bandas" shelter private day beds and carved sun loungers to provide intimate beachfront privacy.

The Palms also features a spa in a beautiful setting. Guests at The Palms can also use the neighbouring frangipani Spa, which offers world-class treatments and facilities.

Other neighbouring facilities include a fitness centre, floodlit tennis court, marine activities centre with windsurfing and snorkelling. A fully equipped and licensed scuba diving centre is available at a charge which is payable locally.
The Palms Zanzibar 2010 Rates for accommodation:
20/12/09 – 15/3/10 & 16/6/10 – 31/10/10: €860 per villa per night
16/3/10 – 15/6/10 & 1/11/10 – 19/12/10: €685 per villa per night
20/12/10 – 07/1/11 incl.: €1025 per villa per night

All rates are quoted in EUROS (€) per villa per day on full board basis. All rates are inclusive of taxes. Rates include full board meal plan, afternoon tea, water, soft drinks, juices, coffee, tea, house wine, beer and a selection of in-house spirits. Laundry is not included.

We will arrange all the logistics and paperwork for this special occasion so you can sit back and leave it to us while you relax at the hotel and enjoy the complimentary massage we have arranged for the Bride and Groom.

The_Palms_weddingsThe wedding ceremony will take place under a beautiful Palm & Bougainvillea canopy on the white, sandy beach. Following the ceremony, Canapés and Sparkling wine are served after you say I do… In the evening we have arranged for a private and intimate dinner featuring the islands finest produce fused with the spices and flavors of the Indian Ocean…a wedding cake follows your dinner.

After this you will retire to your room for your wedding night where we have arranged a surprise gift from the hotel and a sumptuous breakfast served in bed the following day.

Minimum 3-Night Stay is required for this wedding package.

Wedding Ceremony on the beach with Minister or Regional Commissioner Civil Wedding Service (or at the Regional Commissioners Office in Stone Town),

Terms & Conditions
Civil ceremonies must be held in the morning and on weekdays only. Civil Wedding will take place on the beach with the Regional Commissioner coming to the hotel to perform the ceremony; however, in the event that this is not possible it will be necessary to go to the Regional Commissioners Office. Upon returning to the hotel, there will be a symbolic ceremony on the beach with a decorated canopy. In this event, the couple will have to exchange their own symbolic vows. All out door and beach activities are dependent on tides and weather. All documentation for the wedding must be received within the time frame specified.
