There are 2 Shayamanzi houseboats now.
Shayamanzi 1 is a 25 meter by 8 meter, double pontoon houseboat which sleeps 12 - 16 passengers.
There are 6 luxury cabins, each sleeping 2 passengers, which are en-suite with shower, basin and toilet. The cabins are 3,6m x 3,5m and airy with large sliding window doors as your boundary to the water.
There are 4 crew, 2 tender boats and an 8 seater jacuzzi.
Shayamanzi 2 is a 30 meter by 8.6 meter, double pontoon houseboat launched in September
2007. She is a dream cruiser and sleeps 20 - 24 passengers.
There are 6 luxury cabins, each sleeping 2 passengers, which are en-suite with shower, basin and toilet. The cabins are large and airy with large sliding window doors as your boundary to the water.
There are another 4 luxury en-suite cabins on the lowest deck with two generous sized viewing windows. These cabins also have a lounge area, which is convertible for additional bedding for family accommodation.
Shayamanzi 2 is split over 3 levels and has 6 crew, 3 tender boats and a 12 seater jacuzzi.
Cruising in style at up to 9 knots, Shayamanzi passengers enjoy different anchorages each evening. The boats are fully serviced with a world-class crew who will ensure you delicious meals, a safe cruise, great fishing, game viewing and bird watching of more than 350 species.

Arrive at Shayamoya Tiger Fishing and Game Lodge set high up on the ridge with panoramic views of the Pongola River as it curves into the Lake Jozini, the Pongola Game Reserves and the majestic backdrop of the Lebombo Mountains which stretch North into Swaziland.
Dinner is a sumptious affair in the central lodge.
Day Two:
Early morning activity: Safari Game Drive in the Pongolo Nature Reserve
Return to the lodge for a light lunch
2pm Transfer to the jetty to board the Shayamanzi Houseboat
Cruise off to find our evening anchorage
Tiger fishing by tender boat with the Shayamanzi crew until sunset
All the cabins are en-suite with shower, basin and toilet. They have mosquito netting, plug points and fans.
The water system is top class resulting in a hot pressurized shower. There are plug points in the rooms so the ladies have the luxury of blow-drying their hair after stepping out the shower or jacuzzi.
Day Three:
Early morning tiger fishing and safari game viewing by tender boat
During breakfast, the houseboat cruises off to an alternate spot to anchor for the evening.
A light lunch and teas are served
